Get The Look App

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Get The Look mobile application ("the App") operated by Forwardpath Technologies LLP ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Get The Look is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to virtually try on makeup looks, hairstyles, and hair colors on your selfie photos. The App allows you to browse curated looks and styles, upload custom reference images, receive personalized product recommendations, and save or share your generated results.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

3. User Accounts

The App uses anonymous authentication. No personal account creation (email, password) is required. A unique anonymous session is created automatically on your device. Your usage history, preferences, and generated looks are associated with this anonymous session.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

The App offers a limited number of free try-on applications. Once free tries are exhausted, a subscription is required to continue using the virtual try-on features.

Premium Subscription

Premium features, including unlimited try-on applications and custom reference uploads, are available through a paid subscription. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to the respective platform's terms and conditions for in-app purchases.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. Please refer to our Refund Policy for more details.

5. User Content

Selfie Images

By uploading an image to the App, whether a selfie or another photo you are permitted to use, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that image for the sole purpose of providing the virtual try-on service. We do not claim ownership of the images you upload. We do not use your images to train AI models or share them with third parties except as necessary to provide the service.

Generated Content

AI-generated images created through the App are provided for your personal use. You may save and share these images freely. Generated images are approximations and may not perfectly represent how actual makeup, hairstyles, or hair colors would look on you in real life.

Your Responsibility for Uploaded Images

You are solely responsible for every image you upload to the App and for any results you generate or share. By uploading an image, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the image or have all rights necessary to use it
  • Every identifiable person shown in the image has given their consent to the upload and to AI processing of their likeness
  • The image does not show anyone under the age of 18, other than yourself as permitted under Section 2

The App processes images automatically on your instruction and does not pre-screen uploads. If you upload an image of another person without their consent, you alone are responsible for any resulting harm or legal claims.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
  • Upload images that you do not have the right to use
  • Upload an image of another person without that person's consent
  • Upload images of anyone under the age of 18, other than yourself as permitted under Section 2
  • Use the App to impersonate any person, or to create misleading, morphed, or deceptive depictions of a real person
  • Create content that is sexual, harassing, or defamatory toward any person
  • Upload images containing inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
  • Use automated methods to access or scrape the App
  • Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits

7. Content Reporting and Removal

If you believe that an image of you, or of someone you represent, has been uploaded to or processed by the App without consent, please contact us at contact@fwdpath.com with enough detail for us to identify the content. You do not need to be a user of the App to make a report.

We review all such reports and remove content that violates these Terms. For reports involving impersonation or morphed imagery, we aim to remove the content within 24 hours of receiving a valid complaint. We may also suspend or terminate the account responsible for the violation.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and underlying technology, is owned by Forwardpath Technologies LLP and is protected by intellectual property laws. The curated makeup looks, product recommendations, and App branding are our proprietary content. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the App's availability, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Specifically:

  • AI-generated images are approximations and may not accurately represent real-world makeup, hairstyle, or hair color results
  • Product recommendations are suggestions based on AI analysis and may not be suitable for your specific needs
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Processing times for AI-generated looks may vary

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Forwardpath Technologies LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Forwardpath Technologies LLP, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the App, content you upload or generate, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, including uploading images of another person without consent, or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
